John R. Kohler lived in Newberry and Manchester Twp,York Co,Pa He married Sarah "Jane" Stidler who was born in 1861, the daughter of John Steidler and his wife Mary (b.1834) who was a widow living with them in 1900. John and Jane had two children, Carrie A. (1886-1945)unmarried and Elsie Jane (1889) who married, around 1910, to Jacob C. Zeigler. Elsie died about 1919. Jacob Subsequently married Florence Edith Sweezy about 1920.
