Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Koester of
North Downing street are expecting
their son, David Koester, from
Pittsburgh, Pa., on Friday with his
fiancee, Miss Elizabeth Dalzell, also
of Pittsburgh, for the week-end.
Miss Dalzell, who is secretary to the
librarian at Carnegie library, is the
daughter of the Rev. H. A. Dalzell,
associate pastor of Shadyside Presbyterian
church of which the pastor
is the Rev. Hugh T. Kerr, former
Moderator of the Presbyterian
church in America.
Mr. Koester, who is engaged in
research for the Mellon Institute,
will be located for awhile at Ford
City, Pa., where his work will take
him after the first of the year.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Koester, 711
North Downing street, received a
long distance telephone call early
Wednesday morning announcing the
arrival of a son to Mr. and Mrs.
David Koester of Port Arthur, Texas.
The baby, who weighed 8 pounds 6
ounces, was born shortly after midnight.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Koester
of Piqua and the Rev. and Mrs.
Harold Dalzell of Pittsburgh, Pa,,
are the baby's grandparents. Mr.
and Mrs. David Koester have lived
since February in Port Arthur where
Mr. Koester is associated with the
analytic department of the laboratories
of the Gulf Oil company.

Port Arthur, Texas, are receiving
congratulations on the birth of a
son, John Dalzell, weighing 7 pounds
15 ounces and born November 19 at
Port Arthur. Mrs. W. H. Koester
Piqua and the Rev. and Mrs John
Dalzell of Philadelphia are the
grandparents.
