Köster and Löwenstein of Kassel c.1830

I'm looking for information about Köster/Koester and Löwenstein families from the vicinity of Kaufungen, just east of Kassel, Germany. Georg Wilhelm Köster was born 1830, Wilhelm Köster was born about 1833, and Henriette Köster was born about 1835, all in Niederkaufungen. All three immigrated to east London between 1850-1865 and were married there, starting with Georg in 1857 to Eva Elizabetha Heuser (of Nordeck); then Henriette in 1858 to Johannes Hartung (of Spangenberg); and Wilhelm in 1866 to Marie J. C. Ravior (of Kassel).

In English census records, George Koster is listed as a Master Baker, as is his brother-in-law John Hartung. And William Koster is also listed as a Baker. In the English marriage records their father is listed as Johann Georg Köster, deceased, a Customs Officer, though I don't know whether for England or Germany. There is no record of their mother, though there is a family tradition that she was Charlotta von Löwenstein and that she married beneath her station. Both George and William named their first daughters Charlotte Köster, and Henrietta also named a daughter Charlotte.

In 1871 George Köster emigrated with his family to the United States and eventually settled in Dutzow, Warren County, Missouri, next to the family of his wife's older brother (or cousin), George Heuser (b.1821).
