Heinrich Koester, wife and son John Henry emigrated from Hanover, Germany and settled in Iowa 11 south of Dubque in 1853. They moved to Nebraska in 1968 to Nemaha County 7 miles south of Johnson.John Henry married Augusta Polsfus October 12,1868.In 1903 they moved to Deshler, Nebraska (Thayer county) with the two youngest children Anna(Bartels) born 1886 and William (Willy) born 1884.Other Children were Bertha Louise (Fintel), Herman A.,Magatha Helena(Durst),Augusta Maria(Butler),Dietrick born 1880,Otto born 1883,John born 1889,Emma born June 1871, Twins Elizabeth and Herman born 1873.If anyone can provide me with informatin of Heinrich Koester's brothers or sisters who may have emigrated to U.S.at the same time please contact me.
