My family comes from Avella, Pa(south-west of Pittsburgh) and I'm trying to figure out where they descend from.
The furthest I know at this point is my grandfather. His name was Raymond Koenig. My father has told me that he grew up in McKees Rocks, Pa. Beyond that, I don't know much else.
I'll post more when I learn more. I know there are other Koenig's near or in Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure if they're from the same ancestors or if their family have always lived near Pittsburgh.
