Ruth Koenig of Arlington Heights Memorial services for Ruth Koenig (nee Hoenscheid), 84, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights. Interment is private. Born June 28, 1921, in Peru, Ill., to Gustav and Emma (nee Martens) Hoenscheid, she died Monday, March 6, 2006, at her home. Survivors include her husband, Eldred; her children, Kimberly (Steve) Gecan of Crystal Lake, Craig (Kathy) Koenig of Des Plaines and Katherine (Jeff) McVay of Arlington Heights; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Sarah and Rachel Koenig, and Kristen and Matthew Gecan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights IL 60004 or Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S.
