Still searhing for information on Jonathan H. Koen. He was born in North Carolina in 1786 and died in Bradley County, Arkansas, in 1853, although most accounts incorrectly state that he was from Georgia. He built Clarendon Plantation House in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. I can find no information connecting him to the North Carolina Koens, although I believe that he is a descendant of Garrett Koen.
