new here - mom's dad is Koehn, Enid, OK
Hi!
My mother's father's surname was Koehn, first name Herman. He died several years ago. From my earliest recollections of going to visit him, he lived in (or very close to) Enid, Oklahoma.
In his later years, my parents brought him to the San Antonio, Texas area to live with them in Universal City, due to health care needs. My mother even has no recollections of her mother (Herman's wife).I do not know anything about his wife, "Mrs. Koehn".I remember talking with mom one day about her Mrs. Koehn, and I believe that she said she never knew her, but that she did not know why. Some possibilities that immediately come to mind are as follows:
1.she died giving birth to my mother
2.she died in the days immediately following my mother's birth
3.she died in my mother's early infancy from some disease
4.she was killed in some accident
5.she divorced Mr. Koehn
6.she left Mr. Koehn
Mind you, all of these are ONLY possibilities, not neccessarily probabilities.
Anyway, the following is a listing of pertinent information that I can recall at this time.I will post more as I recall more and as I inquire other relatives that I am not able to go visit at this time ( I am currently in Korea):
