My family comes from north-east part of Poland near the city of Bialystok. The Domanowski might orginate from the name of the village Domanowo (40 km from Bialystok)This name is also popular in Hungary and Slovakia (spelled Domano -vsky, -vski,-wsky) but I doubt that it has something in common with polish one.
