Johann Michael Scherbarth was my great-great-grandfather. His son Christian Frederick was my great-grandfather. I have also been unable to find information about Johann's parents or Henriette Koehn's. According to family information I have, Michael's birthdate should be Sept. 1798 rather than 1816. J. Michael Scherbarth is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Portage, WI (1,267,8) according to information on WIGenWeb Project - Columbia County. His birth is listed as Sep 27, 1798 and his death 18 March 1883. He is buried with Kopplin family members; his daughter Auguste married August Kopplin. There is no record of Henriette's burial in any of the cemeteries in Columbia County, WI that I can find. J. Michael's marriage to Henriette Koehn was 23 Oct 1837 and according to LDS records, he was a widower, the marriage to Henriette being his second marriage. It appears that Henriette is the mother of Christian, Auguste, Anne Marie, and Wilhelm (William) Carl, and possibly another child. I would be willing to compare notes regarding J. Michael and Henriette's family.
