Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My grandfather's name was Martin Kochan. I was told that he was from Bohemia (now Czechoslavakia). This may be the same person that you are researching. He married my grandmother, Margaret Sivara, and at one point they resided in Idaho. I have information on my grandmother but have been unable to find any information on my grandfather as of yet. I am going to contact a family relative to try to get additional information in a few days. Feel free to contact me and I will share what I am able to get with you.
