Hello Jerry D. Burgess

I have just found your information from Feb. 07, 2008 on genforum.genealogy.com , about Johann Rudolph Koch .

One of my 4xgrandfathers is born in Segeberg in Holstein in 1791 , his name was Johann Heinrich David Koch .
He came to Denmark about 1832 .
His parents were Johann Jasper Bendix Koch and Margret Hedewig Carstens .
They had these kids : Anna , Christina , Lena , Catharina , Johann Heinrich David (my ancestor ) and Johann Rudolph .

I dont know when the girls and Johann Rudolph were born , in 1802 their mother was 43 Years old .

The names Johan ( Johanne/Johannes , Hans ) and Rudolph are used to several danish descendents until today .

Seven grandkids of Johann Heinrich emigrated to Wisconsin , USA .

I am well aware that it were common names in Holstein , but as an genealogist I cant resist my curiosity .
If they are family , I have their grandparents too .

Best regards .

Johannes Koch .
