My great-grandmother, Alice Ida Koch, was adopted by Julius and Mina Koch in New York, NY sometime around 1860. It appears that when Alice got married in 1879, she received a gift of a family photo album containing 29 photos (or maybe 30 with one missing). Two of the photos were of Alice herself. The rest are presumably of Koch family members from various cities in Germany, Burlington, Iowa, New Jersey, and New York, NY. I am unable to identify most of the people in those photos, but it is certainly a priceless resource for some branch of the Koch family. Now, if I could only find the right people. The photos are archived on Facebook, here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2006062&id=1400710926&l=12059 I have started a Facebook group to try to hunt down people who are interested in those photos. If you are interested in this effort, please join my Facebook group, which is named: Koch Family 1870s Photo Album Identification Thanks! Notify Administrator about this message?
