Hello LouElla--Henry J Koch was my great-grandfather, and I have been told that he was born in 1850 in Hamburg, Germany, and served in the military, which well could have been Prussia at the time. After his marriage to his wife Johanna, he emigrated to the U.S. His children were Frank, Anna, Bill, Henry, Louie, and Freda. I wish I knew who his parents were. Henry and Johanna are buried in a cemetary in Algona, Iowa. Since there was some sort of "family division", any other family information seems to be missing. If I learn anything further, I will post a message--perhaps there is a connection. Thanks--Jan
