Dear Billy: Thank you so much for your info on Samuel R Knox. I have alot of info and two pictures of him. If you would like to give me your email add. I would be happy to share with you any info I have. Samuel and Angline also had the following children. Angie age 3 years 5 months died Sept.25th 1878 and Samuel L. age 5 years 5 monthd died Aug. 21 1878. Both children are buried in Athens Cemetery in Jewell County. That is seven miles North of Glen Elder. Delbert was born June 18 1861 and died Oct. 30 1914. He also was a "man of the cloth". He had two son's and one daughter. I cannot find the daughters burial location but his eldest son George is buried next to him. George was born 2-14-1892 and died 2-26-1911. They are both buried in Elmira Cemetery in Mitchell County, about ten miles east of Glen Elder. They say that Delbert died of a broken heart. With the loss of his two children. One of my old pictures states under it Angline. The baby girl named Angie was named for Angline. Also I believe that George was named after one of Delbert's brothers. Out of Delbert's family that left only my Grandfather Fallas Commadore Knox. Fallas lived with a brother by the name of Billy for awhile, while he was still young. He went on to own his own printing business in Council Bluffs, Iowa called Perless Printing. He was a mason, and very well known in his community. He was about 5'9 stocky built, and had very blue eyes. He was a wonderful carpenter. and he enjoyed fishing, and travel. He loved the Ozarks and when he was in his fourty's and fifty's would meet cousins for vacations there. He was a very kind human. He also loved cards. I have been seeking help in locating or I should say trying to find Samuel's parents. The family stated they were related to Henry Knox. So if I find any info I shall let you know. Thank you for your info. Kathi wkw74@yahoo.com Notify Administrator about this message?
