Does anybody have any information on Emerson Ethridge Knowlton (I don't know his birth year, but he was supposedly born in Tennessee) who married Frances Ellentine Brashears.
Their son, Richard Willis Knowlton was b. 1904 at Mt. Pisgah (don't know state) and married Clara Henrietta Perryman of Izard Co. Arkansas. They had three children: Ruth Ellentine Knowlton b. 1931, Bill Knowlton, and Don Knowlton (deceased policeman, died in the line of duty).
If any of these people sound familiar to you, please e-mail me or post a follow-up. I am doing well with most of my lines, but I can't find anything about this side of the family. I know that my g-grandfather (Richard Willis "Dick" Knowlton) said that his grandfather came over from England (this would be Emerson Ethridge's dad).
