To answer my own message, I would like to inject the following line of Knowltons. The dates may not exactly jive, however, I believe it to be the generations which lead to my Great-Grandmother who was a Knowlton. I think the confusion may have been with the marriages of the Knowlton men. This is a line from Thomas 1641/Hannah Green: Thomas 1670/Goodhue/Coy: Abraham 1703/Lamson-Abraham was product of lst marr to Goodhue: Silas 1737/Wakefield: Abraham 1750/Batchellor/Whitney: Abraham product of lst marr to Batchellor: Perrin 1801/Elizabeth Carter: Chauncey Carter 1830/Elizabeth Carter: Elizabeth Knowlton b 1867 Winona, ILL, d 1958. I was age 7 when she di at age 90. Perrin's siblings were Irene 1799, Newell 1803, Dexter, 1805, Mary Davenport 1807, Calvin Fletcher 1810. Chauncey Carters' siblings were Mary Elizabeth, Ann Carter. My Great-Grandmother's siblings were William H 1857, Annie H 1861, Mary 1864, Florence 1870, Maud 1875. I have not seen anywhere, the lines from Perrin. If anyone out there is linked to these branches, I would be glad to hear from them.
