Hi Trish, I found Cuyler C. and Sarah J. Gulley buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Repton, Conecuh County Alabama. This is what I found there. GULLEY, CUYLER C., b.03/06/1876, d.03/14/1968 (spouse) SARAH J. UNKNOWN GULLEY, EARL FRANKLIN, b.05/20/1900, d.01/19/1970 GULLEY, JOHN B., b.11/13/1895, d.02/10/1985, (father) GULLEY, CULYER (mothers maiden name) KNOWELS, SARAH GULLEY, SARAH J., b.06/24/1872, d.02/04/1929 (spouse) CUYLER C. GULLEY Well this certainly proves that Sarah Jannie Gulley was for a fact the daughter Robert Harrison Knowles that married Elwood Taylor on 10/22/1891 In Greenville, Butler County Alabama. I'm still confused about the ancestor of your father-in-law Lawrence Earl Gulley. I know you as a mediator were talking to him on the phone and typing at the same time. Is it possible he could have said his Grandfather was the child of Sarah Jannie Gulley instead of his Grandmother. It seems likely that Earl Franklin Gulley would be his Grandfather and he recieved the name Earl from him.The records below show the same birth and death dates the cemetery does. SOCIAL SECURITY DEATH INDEX C C GULLEY b.06 Mar 1876 d.15 Mar 1968 (Repton, Conecuh, AL 36475)SS# xxx-xx-xxxx Alabama EARL GULLEY b.20 May 1900 d.Jan 1970 (Repton, Conecuh, AL 36475) SS#xxx-xx-xxxx Alabama Thanks Trish Notify Administrator about this message?
