This is all I need to know. Lawrence is the GG Grandson of Robert Harrison Knowles born 1848, which is the younger brother of BJ's GG Grandfather Andrew Jackson Knowles Sr. born 1822 and my GG Grandfather Daniel G. Knowles born abt 1830 who entered the Civil War in 1861, was taken prisoner and died in Camp Chase confederate prison in Columbus, Ohio in Nov. of 1864. He is buried in Grave #421. It is amazing to me that three decendants one of each of the only three sons of John James Knowles and Sarah(Sallie Love)Knowles was involved in establishing this long wanted information. It is said that Genealogy without documentation is Mytholigy but as you said in an earlier reply some things are handed down in families that are not written. I will search for more info but this is good enough for me. John James Knowles died in Monroeville, Al. abt. 1853 and Sarah married William Blackwell a few years later. They were on the 1860 Conecuh County Census where Robert H. Knowles and His Sister Elizabeth Knowles were listed. This is the five daughters of John James Knowles and Sarah(Sallie Love)Knowles.
