The wife of William Marion Knowles and the three daughters and one son are listed at this link at rootsweb.

Daisy Bell is listed there as Bula or Berla only.She along with her husband William Wallace Tucker are buried at little Pine Barren Cemetery, Escambia county, Florida where she is listed as Daisy B. Tucker.Are you sure her middle name was Bell or could it be Bula or Berla.My search for Lucy Savage the wife of William in Alabama lead to a Savage family on the 1860 tuscaloosa, county Census where she was 10 yrs. old and the 1870 Census where she was 20 yrs. old.This is a close match with her listing at the link above where it has her born in Fl. or Al. in 1851.
Now that we have established contact with another ancestor of the James and Sarah Knowles family lets talk about the task of finding the parents of James which was born in 1794 in Georgia.I have spent countless hrs. searching info on all James Knowles's born near that date.They all lead to other families.If we can't find the info we want under the name James we have to consider the posibility of other names he could be listed as.Lance B. Young and Mrs William Vickery of montgomery, al. provided info to the Ashley-Pace database at rootsweb that his name was John James Knowles.his alias name was JJ or James.Lance B. Young is a decendent of Benjamin Young that married Mary ann Knowles the daughter of James and Mrs William Vickery of montgomery, al. is a decendent of John Duren Vickery that married Sarah Ann Knowles another daughter of James.
James A. knowles the son of Richard which was the son Edmund (old silverhead) Knowles married patience Marvel and migrated to Georgia in the mid 1790s.They had one son named Jesse Marvel and another son listed as Marvel born in 1794.The only documentation I find on this son is where Jesse Marvels wife is listed as his wife which tells me that this was a mistake.could this be our ancestor James Knowles.If you have any info that might help in my search for the parents of James please post it here.
