Huh, alot is coming clear, I've been told lots of stories from my granparents Jack Hartley Knowlden married to Roselyn Knowlden and they told me that the knowlden name used to be shelton. They're the parents of my father. Lots of crazy things. They also say a Knowlden married to Patrick Henry and another married to Thomas Jefferson writter of Dec. of Independance, and president of USA. As far as I heard and saw proof that the knowlden family lived since the late 1700's. More older than you think. Also Marline Knowlden still lives and is like a 2nd aunt of my grandpa, something like that.her'es more from her acting profile

In 1931, a one-day effort by Marilyn Knowlden's attorney father led to an interview, a next-day screen test and a large part for four-year-old Marilyn in one of the early "talkies", Women Love Once (1931). A ten-year movie career followed, where she played the daughter of such stars as Claudette Colbert, Katharine Hepburn, Alan Jones and Norma Shearer.

She appeared in some of the screen's great classics, including Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) The Personal History, Adventures, Experience, and Observation of David Copperfield, the Younger (1935) and MisÚrables, Les (1935), in which she played the child Cosette. She appeared in six films nominated by the Academy for Best Production of the Year and performed with such distinguished actors as Fredric March, Charles Laughton, Tyrone Power, Greta Garbo and Bette Davis.

Somebody talk to me.
