do you have more details about your Charles Knorr? I have a Carl Knorr in my pile that emigrated to the US in about . His parents were born in the late 1700 but I do not have more info on their exact dates.
he would have been likely born around 1820 in Kotten, Tost-Gleiwitz, Upper Silesia.
I hear he was sent to the US by his father.
