It is possible that the KNOPP or KNOP or KNOPF names were connected in 1700's... but have not found any information prior to 1731 on our Johan Heinrick Knop prior to the arrival in Phil., PA... have not figured out how to search prior to that time yet!. I do know that these original people were shifted around a lot...country to country.... check the Palantine page at ---
