Christina Knipp was the daughter of George Knipp and Sarah (Sally) Adams. She was born abt. 1813 in Virginia. George Knipp was the son of Verner Knipp and Christina (maiden name unknown.)Verner lived in Wythe Co. Va. and later Greene Co. Tn.
George settled in the Carter Co. Ky. area around 1820.
This is what I have on Christina who married Peter Bear, Bare and sometimes spelled Bower.
They were married 24 March 1832 in Carter Co. Ky. On the 1860 Ky. census they were in Carter Co. On the 1870 Ky. census Peter was in Elliot Co. Christina does not show up on the 1870 census. She must have died bet. 1860 and 1870.
