I have the Knipp family that was in the state of Missouri. The Knipp who came to Missouri was George Edward Knipp who was born May 5 1818 in Meistershoven, Germany. His wife was Anna Christina Meurer born feb 22 1838 in Schmitten, Germany. They had 8 children. The sons were John W Knipp, born feb 9 1860 at California, Missouri. He married Maggie Dick. My sister is married to one of his grandsons. There is no Edmond Knipp in this line down from John W Knipp. The second son is Henry J Knipp born nov 30 1861 in California, Missouri. He married Elizabeth Bickenback. I do not have any children for this man. The third son is Peter Knipp born april 20 1866 at California, Moniteau County, Missouri. I do not have a marriage or a date he died so he man have married and raised children but I have no record. The fourth son is George Edward Jr Knipp born oct 13 1868 at California, Moniteau Co., Missouri. He married Gertrude Schmidt. I have only a daughter named Alvina Margaret Knipp born sept 16 1899.

George Edward Knipp's father was William Wilhelmus Knipp born spt 12 1782 in Hoven, Rheinland, Prussia. He married Anna Margaret Schmidt born apr 21 1785 in Mastershoven, Prussia. They had 7 children.

The next generation is Johannes Joim Knipp born mar 9 1751 at Much, Rheinland, Prussia he married Eva Margareta Bngelberts born in Much, Prussia. They had 10 children.

The next generation is Hans Willhelm Knipp born aug 2 1718 Geikau, Schleswig, Holstein, Germany. He married Maria Catherine Dick born about 1723 Rheinland, Prussia. They had 8 children.

The next generation is Frans Nipp born 1683 Satjendorf, Gem Parker, Germany. He married Sike Semers born 1683 at Satjendorf, Germany. they had only one child.
