Nancy Elizabeth KNIPP or FISHER?

Hi there,

Our data base shows that Nancy Elizabeth FISHER was married to John William Knipp in 1886. We found Carter County Death Certificate # 14207 for Nancy Elizabeth Knipp with parents listed as Edward Knipp and Phoebe Carroll. The birth and death information that we have for Nancy E. FISHER is roughly the same as those found on DC #14207 Birth 9/14/1867 and Death June 26, 1941 Nancy Elizabeth Knipp.

Is it possible that Nancy Elizabeth was born a Knipp, married to a FISHER, then married JW Knipp??

Can anyone clarify this obvious discrepancy in our Data Base??
