I guess by now everyone has figured out that I'm concentrating on the KNIGHTONS/KNIGHTENS that were White and had ties to South Carolina trying to find siblings of my GREEN L. KNIGHTON (1823-1864).
I don't know how else I can get "beyond" my brick wall (which is the parentage of Green L. Knighton).
There were many black KNIGHTONS living in Alabama in 1880 plus mixed races.
The 1880 Census is on-line thru the Family History Website.
(The Latter Day Saints or Morman Church Site).
