He and his brothers immigrated to South Africa (his brother, my direct ancestor is Daniel Knight, born 1812). The settled in Grahamstown, which is about 1oo miles from Uitenage, where your James was born... Do you have any further information on James' parents, etc? Notify Administrator about this message?
