You might want to look into John Jackson KNIFFIN, b. 24 Nov. 1820 NY d. 1908 who m. Eliza KEELER b. 1816 CT. They married 1841 in Dane co, WI. They might be the parents or grandparents. John Jackson's siter, Eliza went to WI with her husband, but they eventually ended up back East.
