Hello Lynne,

Thank you for the follow up. A fellow Kniffin researcher contacted me and we were trying to validate whether or not Lewis/Lloyd were the same individual but one of us had the wrong name. I also do not have a Laura in all of my Kniffin database but thought it was worth checking out. It appears to me that my Lewis and your Lloyd(s) are not the same.

I am interested to know if you have any connections in your Kniffin ancestry to my Kniffin group. The furthest back I have is Lewis Kniffin Sr, born about 1832 in NY, no date of death, married to Mary Catis (1st wife) and later to Jennie Bogart. They had four sons, Henry, Ward, Lewis and Merit.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my message. Good luck with your research and Happy Holidays.

Carolyn
