Hi John. Haven't written to cousins this much ever. I've met your uncle Frank once or twice. Your dad and his family moved from the house that I consider my grandparents home to Eyrecourt. My Granny many times said how thankful she was to your grandfather because he told the land commission he would only move to Eyrecourt if Mick and Winnie Gohery got his house. At that time they were living in a shack with four children.
My dad just told me your dad and uncles attended my grans funeral in January. I told him I found you and now he is all stories. When I ask I get one word answers. Typical Gohery.
My Uncles. John in Mayo Mick in Luton Patsy-Eyrecourt Tom-tuam Larry-Gurrane Tynagh Willy-Louth Tony and Peter Australia Frank(dad) Peterswell Aunts Margaret(rip) Naas Winifred-Donegal Chris-Nenagh. No web site yet.
