Marie, this sounds like the same Phillip A. Kneip. My dad's sister has a portrait (photo) and the back reads Josephine Sunhalter Kneip. I believe she was the mother of Phillip Kneip whose son Phillip A. was my grandpa. Please feel free to post any other interesting history you have & thank you.
