There is considerable genealogical information on Henry in the Kneeland Genealogy section of Tim Hunter's website (tahunter.net) which is based on the Stillman Foster Kneeland genealogy. However, it appears that SFK was not aware of Henry's death because the date and place of death are listed as unknown.

Is there any mention of the senior Henry being involved with ship building and/or whaling? I have been curious for some time about the origins of the ship The Henry Kneeland. It seems that the ship would have christened just about the same time as the son (1806).
