hello to you

My family names are richards, hosken and matthews, also kliskey - all of SW cornish origin. My Grandfather can only trace his family back to a Kneebone, some generations back. our family assumes that this Kneebone was a Breton fisherman who "settled" in Newlyn, Cornwall at some point. I calculate that this would have been no later than mid-19th century, maybe much earlier.

Does this help you?

Can you tell me more?

thanks........cath
