I am seeking the parents of Mary M. Knouse. She married Samuel Morr in Wayne Co., OH Jul 10, 1834. Census information from her family in 1850 would indicate that she was born about 1815 in PA. In 1840 and 1850 census Samuel and Mary and their large family are located in Perry Twp Wayne (1840) and Ashland (1850), before moving to DeKalb Co, IN by 1860. There does not appear to be a family of Knouses in the area in that timeframe that is consistent with her parents. I cannot find a connection with the Tuscarwarus Co., OH Knouses nor any PA Knouses in the 1930 genealogy of Knouses. Would appreciate any help as this has been the object of many visits to the genealogical library to no avail!
