I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you right away. I have been working on my mother's side, and haven't done anything with the Knauss family for quite some time. I don't know your e-mail address, so I'm hoping you are still checking the message board. I'm afraid I just barely remember Alta, she was quite a bit older than my dad, but I definitely would like any information you have on her. I only remember her last husband (Myles Butcher) and though I vaguely remember her having been married before (apparently a couple of times), I was very small and really didn't pay any attention. I did think that she had a daughter, but I never saw her.
Please send me any information you have. You don't know how much I would appreciate it.
