john fletcher knapp
hello i am still looking for alll that i may findon john f. KNAPP.he was born 1849 in iowaand he died in phoenix arizona 1912. he had a brother i know of named stewart KNAPP. he lived in san fran cal fori do not know how long.i am looking for who his parents were some info leads me to think his father was from n.y and mother from ohio. john fletcher KNAPP S first wife was eliza they married in eighteen 67 in chicago ill. and moved back to wa,d.c. he then went on to yuma ariz,in 1877 as the first railroad agent for southern pac r.r. he aquired various holdings from the tusconcitizen,arizona republican,etc. he was active in politics and was was rep to yuma county in the 11 legislature. then sent to the 12legislature.he later was speaker of the body,and transferred to pima county.his first wife eliza left him returning to n.y. he divorced and married mygrgrgreatgrandma ellen BAYLES KNAPP. IN 1883-SHE HAD TWO SONS JOHN DAVID KNAPP 1884-1942?AND EMMETKNAPP. SHE DIVORCED HIM ALSO AND MOVED TO LOS ANGALES WITH THE TWO BOYS.HE DISSAPEARED FROM AZ FOR MANY YEARS AND TURNS UP IN ARIZONA A MONTH BEFORE HIS PASSING ON. THE OBITUARY SAID HE LEFT A WIFE AND DAUGHTER IN INDIANNA. (NUMBER THREE )... I AM LOOKING FOR HER AND HER DAUGHTERS NAME ALSO.THE MORE I FIND OUT ABOUT HIM THE MORE OF A PIECE OF ART HE MUST HAVE BEEN. BACK THEN WOMEN I BELIEVE DID NOT WALK AWAY FROM AN INFLUENTUAL PERSON W. OUT A VERY GOOD REASON.HE TIMED 3....
