I have since found that RICHARD SMITH & SARAH KNAPP were my 2 great grandmother's parents. Here are items found since this last posting.
Since posting the previous post I have discovered who CLARINA HOWARD SMITH's parents and siblings were. See report. More on my website - see URL below report.
RICHARD1 SMITH was born May 26, 1782 in United States, and died February 25, 1857 in Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Quebec, Canada. He married SARAH KNAPP, daughter of UNKNOWN KNAPP. She was born October 26, 1786 in United States, and died January 13, 1869 in Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Quebec, Canada.
