Agnes only family member of Jesse Knapps family that Virginia ever knew.Jesse Knapp left home at age of 15, one of 10 children,Father and family very religious, morning to night. He left home.
Agnes moved to Salt Lake city, and then to California following her brother. She did not marry until her 40's --so no children.. Married Howard Jagger, they owned a Candy and Ice Cream story in East Los Angeles.Virginia remembers working in the store with them.Said that Agnes had worked in a Stationery Store in Salt Lake City.
Virginia said she only heard of her father going back to his family one time, and that was that her Grandmother had died, 3 or 4 mos before Virginia born in Jan 1910, and that Jesse went back for his mothers funeral. But, other than that and the info about the aunt, knew nothing else of her fathers family.
