knabe family heirloom

I have been trying for a couple of years now to find a Knabe family member which would be interested in a piece of your family history. I have obtained a Knabe banjo with, GERMANY USSR OCCUPIED,stamped on the back of the neck. It came in a Kansas City Missouri Quigley Music Store case. My research shows a family member migrated from Germany to Missouri.I am trying very hard to keep it out of the hands of just banjo collectors and put this piece of history back home with its family. I was told this is a one of a kind made possibly only for a Knabe family member since there has never been another one found. It is beautifully crafted. still in playing condition, everything still original.please contact me at my e mail address
I am not a collector, just a very sentimental person, with a desire to try to do the right thing.
Sincerely,Jeffery Jackson
