Looking for more information on Johannes (Kloss),wife Catherina (Guth),and son Frederick,German Palatine, removed to Pa.,1752 ,ship "Earl of Wirtenburg". Suspect Frederick (Glaze) of Lancaster Co.,Pa., served in the Rev.War Pa.under Capt.Martin Bowman. Believe son George m.Hetzel, removed to Va.indexed as (Glaize). Also indexed from Lancaster Co.,Pa.,Rev.War Pa. Jacob (Glatz),George (Glatze),John (Glauss),and Adam (Glaze). Suspect these may be brothers to Frederick, sons of Johannes & Catherina nee Guth/Good Kloss/Glaze/Glaize. Have found many variant spellings for these German Glazes. I also have an Erhardt (Klos),German Palatine, removed to Pa.1738 ship "Glasgow" Earhart (Gluse) m.Eve Seltenreich, daughter of Andreas Seltenreich. Sons Lorenz b.1744 Pa.,Johannes b.1745 Pa.,Andreas,George,Conrad,Erhardt,& Wendel. This (Glaze) family removed to Hampshire Co.,(Va.)1760s. Earhart (Glaze) wife Eve found in Public Service Claims,1775,Romney-Winchester. Also son John Glaze is found in these same records. John Glaze(Pvt.) found in Pittsburg Payrolls 1775 ,served with Capt.Michael Cresap Sr. ,received pay ,40 days. These two lines may or may not be related. I descend from John Glaze b.1745 Pa.,wife Elizabeth, son Arehart Glaze b.1789. Arehart Glaze m.Sally aka Sarah Jan.6,1814 Wood Co.,(Va).This family removed to Ohio about 1830. Children born in Va.& Ohio. Would like more information on Frederick (Glaize) born Germany, removed to Pa.,1752.
