I suspect that Nancy Cyper was Anna Seuffert.Nancy and Anna are interchangable. The name is mangled, but I suspect this is the one. Unfortunately, I have been unable to identfy Jacob's parents.
1. Jacob KLOCK. Jacob married Anna SEUFFERT. They had the following children:
i. Luisa. Born on 15 Dec 1817. At the age of 1, Luisa was baptized in Herkimer Reformed, Herkimer Co., NY on 27 Feb 1819. Godparents: Parents.
ii. Peggy. Born on 23 Jul 1820. At the age of 2, Peggy was baptized in Herkimer Reformed, Herkimer Co., NY on 28 Jul 1822. Godparents: Parents.
In Herkimer Reformed:
7-20-1822 Dan Hart and Susana Syffert
7-28-1822: Group baptism with the following parents:
Jacob Klock and Anna Seuffert
Peter J. Hoover and Gertrude Syfert
Joannis Syffert and Rachel Pluto
Peter Pluto and Eliz Wallrath
Joannis Wallrath and Catharina Pluto
Balthasar Cremer and Dorothea Goodbrodt
Godfreied Cremer and Margaretha Hagedorn
Jacob Keller Jr and Nancy Petrie
The next question is, was this group preparing to leave the Mohawk valley? There were Harwicks in their church at the time. The expert HZ Jones says "They married their neighbors" and "They traveled together".
