Hello there,
I asked my mother about some more information and here it is:
the last information that we have gotten is the following:
Harm Janssen Klock
Born July 13th, 1817 in Bingum
Died November 27th, 1892 in Westrhauderfehn
Married on June 22nd, 1851 in Westrhauderfehn to
Chatharine Margarete Minssen
Born October 24th, 1816 in Rhaude
Died March 10th, 1863 in Westrhauderfehn
The father of Harm Janssen Klock (which is the earliest information that we have gotten) was named ALLO KLOCK and he was a shipper. The mother of Harm was named LENTJE GERDES. We do not have any dates about these people because the church books concerning the periods of 1812-1826 and 1854-1862 were burned in 1911 in Bingum.
Maybe there is a chance that you might be able to help us. Your help would be much appreciated. It really does seem quite strange that I am asking for help in a country that is more than 6,000 miles away eventhough we are living ½ hour away from Bingum.
Kind regards
Maike Klock
