Wow! This is my 1st use the internet for genealogy. It's so much easier than is was when I worked on it back in 1978.
We're talking about the same Wenzel Klippel. My information source then was my sister, Linda Klippel Means, she some how came into contact with the wife of a Klippel serving at a US military base in Germany in the 70's. She had accessed the records at the Lutheran church in Niederweisel. Her husband was a decendent of Wenzel Klippel and Wenzel's second wife Anna Elizabeth Wilhelm. Their son was Conrad Klippel b. 1830 married Elizabeth Grohns b. 1840. Their son was George William Klippel. it was his daughter inlaw who provided my sister with this information.
I have a more information on our common ancesstor.
1753 marriage date for Konrad & Maria Dorthea Bill.
11/29/1786 marriage date for Johann Jacob & Anna Margaretha Mass. Her death was 12/18/1827.
Have you been to Niederweisel? My father's sister still keeps in touch with the Klippel cousins there.
