George Stephen Kling was the Superintendant for Dickenson and Bartlett Lumber Co in Hamilton Ill. about 1895. After one year he went to work as asst. Sup. for a company in Hermansville Michigan. I know that he built houses in Lowville N.Y. before 1895 and in Los Angeles about 1900. He built a mansion for the Lt. Governor of California in 1911 and a Woman's prison in Ventura California , a bank in Monrovia California and a Hospital in Fullerton California before going into the furniture manufacturing business in Los Angeles. I am his grandson and the husband of Dolores Kling
