Earl R. Kline, 79, died Tuesday at community hospital.
Born Oct. 22, 1891 at Plattsmouth, Nebr., he was married to Lulu Baughman in that city on June 19, 1912.
He was employed by Burlington Railroad there before retiring in 1957. He moved to California in 1968 and came to Ellensburg in April, 1970, making his home on Rt. 5.
He was a member of the Christian Church at Plattsmouth.
Survivors include his wife, Lulu; two sons, Floyd of Santa Monica, Calif., and Virgil of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Emerick of Ellensburg; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Taylor of Shenandoah, Iowa, Mrs. Vera Dreadin of Boaz, Ala., Mrs. Frances Cochran of Cheriton, Iowa and Mrs. Mable Baughman of Lincoln, Nebr.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A son, Chester, preceded him in death in 1943.
Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., Evenson’s Chapel, Rev. Arthur Liddle officiating. Burial will be at High Valley Memorial Gardens.
