we know that Nikolai (called 'Neets' on the 1920 census) came to the US between 1910-1915. We don't know anything about his parents; he was supposed to be from the Minsk area. He did have a brother, though no one now remembers his name. There is a formal picture of Nikolai and his wife and two of his children taken around 1918 that we have that includes another man about the same age as Nikolai standing alongside the family. Everyone says it is his brother, but no one knows his name. The only Klimick also on the 1920 census in Chicago is a Joseph Klimick. Joseph was about the right age to be the fellow in the family portrait. But, with spelling variances, etc., who knows.
