Andreas Kley immigrated to St Louis Missouri in 1857. He was born in January 1826 in Saxony according to the 1900 census. He died in 1902 in St Louis County, Missouri and is buried at the St Lucas Cemetery on Dennis Rd, in Sunset Hills, Missouri. He married (1861) Katharina Kuechenmeister daughter of Conrad Kuechenmeister, she was born in Hesse, GERMANY ON 12 May 1844 immigrating to the USA as an infant in 1845. She died 9 Nov 1930 in Kirkwood, MO, and was buried 12 Nov 1930 in St Lucas Cemetery, Sunset Hills, MO.
Andreas and Katharina were the parents of 11 children: John, William, Mary (Meyer), Andrew Henry, Katy (Bowen), Catherine, Louise E, Fred W, Lena, and Millie (Ruhl Schultz) KLEY.
Does anyone know where in Saxony and/or Hesse that these families came from? I am willing to share what I have.
