I would like to talk with anyone who has genealogy information about the Klenk (Klink) family of Philadelphia.
In the 1910 census, there is a Klenk family who lived on Risining Sun Lane. (Enumeration district 1092). The census taker listed them as "Klink". The census lists the mother as Mary Klink age 54, widowed, who had 10 children, 9 of whom were still alive. Daughters were Minnie Klink Dryer(Dreyer), Kate Klink, Mame Klink. Sons were Fred Klink, Louis Klink, Russell Klink, Edwin Klink. 2 other children were not listed in that census.
Sister Kate Klink may have married a George Schrank.
My interest relates to Minnie Klenk/Klink. Born approx 1885, she married my grandfather Joseph F Dreyer/Dryer in 1905 and they had a daughter, Edna, around 1909. Minnie died sometime between 1918 and 1920. Edna also died as a young woman. My grandfather remarried in 1925 to my grandmother Lena (Paulina) Hoffman.
I wonder if the descendants of Minnie Klenk/Klink's siblings might have photos/documents of Minnie's wedding, or of her life with daughter Edna and my grandfather Joseph Dryer/Dreyer (and his parents/family?). Joseph Dreyer's parents were Charles Dreyer and Catherine Reimel.
Joseph Dryer/Dreyer and Minnie Klenk/Klink lived on N Hope St, in 1918. He was a steam-fitter/pipe-fitter and worked at the Frankford Arsenal.
Thank you for any ideas. Responses to: email@example.com
