My GGrandfather was Herman John Kleinschmidt born 20 Dec 1854 in Pommern, Dreusselford (now Germany), who came over to the United States in ? along with one of his brothers: Albert T. Kleinschmidt, born 1864 in Pommern. They settled in Huron County, Mi. Herman married Elizabeth Krohn in Huron County, Mi in?, and Albert married Elizabeth ? born in 1871 in ? All four people are buried at the Grand Lawn Cemetery in Pigeon. Herman died 30 Sept 1915, his wife Elizabeth died 11 Oct 1911, Albert died in 1943, and his wife Elizabeth died in 1951. My Grandfather (Walter Reinhardt Kleinschmidt) was Herman and Elizabeths nineth child. Grandpa died in 1986, before he died he told me that he could remember huge family reunions with Aunts, Uncles and Cousins attending from as far away as California (he stated that one of his Uncles was a professor at one of the Universities out there). I don't know who his relatives were...can anyone help me out??? I don't know when they entered the U.S., or who all came. Help please!!!
